And am unlikely to return.
My decision comes from my long-ago realization that I was more excited about the potential comments I would receive on dA about a picture, than I was about the process of drawing + coloring.
      Pardon my language, but fuck that.
I am an artist for art's sake, not for peer justification or praise. It was never something I idealized anyway.

I kept returning to dA just to keep a progressive record of my art, since I could find no other site or method that could do so as adequately. However, the hidden strings attached to dA were what distanced me. I don't particularly feel like elaborating.

I appreciate the community that dA strives for, and as some would say, for the most part achieved.
   Regardless, it is not for me. Some flowers grow from the ground singularly, some grow together cautiously reaching for the sky. The lotus lives in mud and strives for the sun... My point being that, the environment that causes one to thrive is not necessarily what the other needs.
